Health Checks

Health checks are important to keep your animal happy and healthy. it is important to keep on top of routine treatments like vaccinations.

For pets under a year old, health checks are important to ensure we are staying on top of their health needs. This is especially important for young animals so that we may detect and manage hereditary diseases such as hernias, hip displasia, epilepsy, heart disease and brachycephalic syndrome.

As our pets age, the likelyhood of them developing cancers, arthritis, organ disease and other age related problems increases. These problems can develop quickly and the health and happiness of your pet can deteriorate if they remain undetected. Regular health checks are especially important for our older pets.

During your health check, our vets may complete the following treatments, depending on the age of your pet and their individual requirements.
